Hiking day trip from Opoeteren to Aldeneik!
This hike is a great way to feel what Cittaslow really means.
A day on foot, accompanied by a nature guide, along the Bosbeek from Opoeteren to Aldeneik. Pure relaxation! We rediscover the importance of water and connection. A tour of 22 km, at a leisurely pace, through various nature reserves. The diversity within our municipality is truly impressive. There are a few stops at the historic windmills, our water-powered heritage! And those who wish can light a candle at the Marian grotto in Neeroeteren. We finish at the mouth of the Bosbeek in Aldeneik.

Daily schedule:
8 am: departure from Blueberry Square, walk from Opoeteren centre to the Volmolen for a hearty, organic breakfast
9.30 a.m.: walk from the Volmolen to Neeroeteren
12 to 2 pm: lunch (soup with bread)
2 pm: walk from Neeroeteren to Aldeneik
19 to 20 hrs: return by taxi to Opoeteren
20 hrs: joint french fries stabbing region Opoeteren
Monday 29 May (Whit Monday) and Thursday 2 November (All Souls' Day)
Price: 89 euros pp (all inclusive except drinks on the way and chips in the evening)
