What can you expect during the Wine Safari in the Meuse Valley?

• An idyllic tour along the Meuse: The Wine Safari in the Meuse Valley takes you along the banks of the Meuse and through picturesque villages. With our eco-trolleys, you will cover a route of about 25 kilometres, with six stops where you will enjoy local wines. 
• Visit to local vineyards: During the safari, you will visit some of the Maas Valley's most renowned wine estates, such as Wijngoed Thorn and Wijndomein Aldeneyck. Due to closing days of the Maasland wineries, the taste & greet on Sunday cannot be guaranteed.
• Tastings of 6 refined wines: You will have the chance to taste a wide range of wines, from elegant white wines to sparkling and fresh rosés. These wines have a distinct character thanks to the gravel soils and the unique climate of the Meuse Valley.
• Educational tour: Our guides share their knowledge about the history of viticulture in the Meuse Valley and the specific characteristics of the region. During the safari, you will get an in-depth look at the production process and the influence of the river on the terroir.
• The price includes everything you need for a whole afternoon of fun; the cart, the guide, the wine tasting (with a glass) and a bag of Lucien's Belgian crisps. Here are no extra costs, except of course if you want to take some wine home afterwards!
