Step into the church and you are sure to be pleasantly surprised
Medieval architecture, paintings and sculptures combine beautifully. There is a treasure trove of late gothic wooden sculptures, made by the Master of Elsloo (circa 1500).
Unmissable: The double statue of Mary – the Marianum – and the magnificent wall and ceiling paintings.
Did you know : The wooden statues and the unique Marianum are considered Flemish masterpieces.
• The church is temporarily closed on weekdays.
• Open on Saturdays and Sundays from 8:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
• Not accessible during a baptism or funeral.
