Due to works, the Rotem-Grevenbicht ferry will not sail on weekdays until July 2025. However, the ferry will sail on weekends, on Thursday, May 29 (Ascension), bridge day, May 30 and on Whit Monday.
How nice of you to come and marvel at the South Limburg Gransmaasvallei, Selfkant (D) and Maaseik (B)!
Once on the pedals, the Route full of Wonder has a lot of cross-border surprises to reveal.
Many wonderful things have happened and special places to see in this area. In the places where these stories lurk, the door is usually not open.
That is different now. With your smartphone in your pocket, you will live an audiovisual experience at many locations along the route, admiring places (in 360 degrees) that you normally don't see and hearing stories (during an audio tour) that hardly anyone knows.
Between these locations you will enjoy the green and peaceful surroundings and take a break at one of the atmospheric catering establishments along the way.
This new bicycle loop (orange loop, 53,8 km) will thus be added to the existing map 'Route full of wonder', but also mentioned on the contemplative bicycle route map of municipality Echt-Susteren.
