As soon as the sun sets, Maaseik’s past comes to life.
The falling darkness at the start immediately creates a special atmosphere. Theme of this edition: THE SIX OF MAASEIK!
During “The Six of Maaseik,” you’ll discover, on foot, the six monasteries that once stood within Maaseik’s city walls. At special locations, old photos and historical images will be projected onto the walls. In this way, places that may seem quite ordinary today are reconnected to their past.
Join us as we stroll through the dark streets and let yourself be surprised by stories, images, and places that bear witness to a rich monastic past.
This activity is suitable for ages 12 and up.

Advance reservations are required and can be made by email or phone until 1:00 p.m. on Saturday
Groups of more than 10 people must make a separate reservation with the group tours department; group price: €90 for a guide
